They were easy to put in. They do "click" closed. They are not difficult to close and it is a perfect fit. The 18 gauge is true to size. I've had them in (and out) for a coupe of days. They are seamless. They can be turned through my piercings without rough edges. I cleaned these in soap and alcohol before putting them in my ears. Within a day or two my ear became irritated and infection started setting up. They feel very cheap/flimsy.
