A: No clip and channel can give you STC 56+ - 15 STC points is great. The other numbers are when they also include the drywall, insulation, etc

**Q: Can i use these clips as a subfloor option (original floor>new joists to level floor>rsic clips>furring channel>plywood subfloor>underlayment>)?**
A: These are not designed to be used on floors. This should only be used to decouple walls and ceilings.

**Q: What size hat channel is this meant for?**
A: If you are using resilient sound clips, then you should be using resilient channel, either double leg or single leg. Does not fit regular hat channel well.
