Before with age at 56, the whites of my eyes have turned more brownish with red veins. I never paid much attention and just got used to it until after teeth cleaning and wearing a white t-shirt noticed how my teeth and shirt matched, but my eyes were dingy and brownish. I have worn contacts for over 30 years with a very strong prescription and thought maybe that had something to do with it. I saw this product, read the reviews and thought I would give it a try. I use a drop in each eye at bedtime after taking contacts out, and in the morning a few minutes before putting in the contacts. I noticed that my contacts are more comfortable during the day and tend to stay in place for clearer vision looking side to side, and much better night vision.I figured that if it was toxins that have built up in my eyes over the years, then the drops should be naturally working from the inside out, so even though I am not seeing improvement from the external, the cleansing is already happening internally working toward overall cleansing with the result of brighter eyes and better vision. I've been using Wisdom of the Ages Eye Bright drops for one week, and my blotchy brown stained eyes are 60 - 70 percent whiter. I expect all of the dark brown staining to be gone in seven more days.UPDATE! (five months later)It's been five months, and I'm now using my second bottle. In addition to the brown staining, I also had a thick raised substance around the perimeter of my eyes called pinguecula, and now it's almost gone. You can barely see it anymore. I knew that the pinguecula was harmless, but it still made me nervous. I'm so excited, because I can't really see it anymore. From my experience you have to use the drops daily. When I stopped the cataracts started returning.
