It was easy to assemble just looking at the pictures of other people ( customer uploaded ), since the direction sheet was of no help. FOR THOSE HAVING DIFFICULTY WITH ASSEMBLY- Some Tips: 1. put screws in with it RIGHT SIDE UP, rather than upside down like the guide sheet says. 2. The RIGHT side of it has shelves with a lip to act as a barrier preventing polishes from sliding off. 3. keep in mind that the LONGEST side of the " feet" go down to form your base that enable your rack to stand. 4. If holes for screw to small, just use screw driver on hole until it allows tips of screw to fit, then as you screw it in hole will increase around the screw, (at least it worked that way for me) 5. LOOK AT ALL PHOTOS ON CUSTOMER reviews it will help you visualize how pieces fit together, just keep going over it various angles til it makes sense to you. It really is worth it. Then I discovered that it worked just as wonderfully well for holding my 2 oz paint bottles! It will hold between 50-60 depending on which brands you have. Based on a fellow Amazon customer's review, I'm about to purchase at least two more of these for storing my essential oils collection - something I don't think I would have ever thought of, but what an incredible idea! Besides being well made and quite strong, as well as being made of clear see-through acrylic, the REAL appeal (to me) of this display is its tiered design. Whatever you put on it, you can SEE it at a glance. Believe me, if you have a lot of something that you want to keep organized, and if it will fit in a 1-1/2" deep space (the length of this display is a generous 16"), then you might want to think of giving this a try. It was sooo satisfying organizing all my nail polishes and it looks sooo good on my desk haha. The shelf itself comes unassembled in 3 pieces with 5 nails, washers, and nuts. It took a while to figure out how to assemble because I had no idea what washers and nuts were and the little instruction sheet they sent didn't help. But after I figured it out, it was super easy to put it together. Very stable. It fits a variety of polishes including Essie, OPI, China Glaze, Sally Hansen, Seche Vite, Orly, etc. It fits about 60 polishes.
