I simply left the blanket in my hotel, packed this bag with my personal items and this was my handbag for my entire stay in Spain. I was even able to flip it onto the blue side so the airplane wasn't showing, hmmm didn't want anyone to know I was a tourist lol. It was great and so worth the money.
