Review: Quasimodo would be proud! - This is a wonderful model. It looks incredible lit up. The model does not come with lights. I simply put some Christmas lights inside it. This model will take you several days to complete. It has beautiful attention to detail, and the windows are the standout selling point for me. It is made of very strong cardboard or foamboard. It doesn't require any glue. Some of the buttresses were a bit fiddly to attach but with a lot of patience you really get a lovely model at the end. Well worth the time and effort. The directions are easy to follow. I can't recommend this kit highly enough.

**Q: Is it self assemble**
A: Yes, its a model aeroplane kit. Like Airfix. Lots of small parts you glue together yourself then paint.

**Q: Does this require priming beforehand?**
A: Yes I always prime my models before painting the correct colours - it is definitely beneficial to the final finish. I used Halfords Acrylic grey primer on mine

**Q: Are the pilots pre-painted?**
A: No. The entire kit is supplied unpainted.

**Q: How did you guys get the yellow? it's required to mix to make other colours but cannot see how, and same with matt black. am i missing items?**
A: Revell Gift Sets and Model Sets include the main paint colours for any given project, not every colour required. As this is a Skill Level 4 kit for intermediate modellers, there is an assumption that the builder will already have a selection of commonly used colours like yellow and black.
