The new back was fine and the chair assembled easily. There are clear instructions and extra spare parts. For the price I think this chair is unbeatable. The lower back offers support without being uncomfortably prominent. The armrests are solid as are the wheels. It rolls well, doesn't squeak, and is comfortable. It also has fabric covering, not the fake leather that most other chairs come with. I like the feel of the fabric and it looks good. All in all a good deal.
