It's delicious; naturally sweet, I think, but then all the time, I take my herbal tea without any sweetener.  The health benefits of rishi and ginger have been well documented, so they don't have to be recounted here.  It is soothing to my self, and I believe it helps with my digestion, stomach, and throat.  I have esophageal ulcers, which are soothed, not irritated by this tea.

This tea really helps me with my full body pain and inflammation.  Don't get me wrong, it doesn't take all of that pain away as my pain is severe, but it makes it bearable to sleep and can take the edge off.  It does have a strong herbal taste that is kind of peppery but I like it.

I didn't purchase this as a sleep aid but, in the weeks since I was diagnosed with cancer, I've had a lot of trouble sleeping.  I've had the best sleep since diagnosis after drinking this tea.  It is absolutely delicious with a dash of almond milk.  Highly recommended.
