Just do some planning on your job so changing angles is kept at a minimum. Review: easy way to fix squeege to stay on Reach poles. - I have the reach poles by Ettore and it screws on well, BUT the squeeges do not lock in and I was concerned that it would come off when cleaning the roof skylight. I easily fixed the problem by drilling hole through the adaptor, going to my local Hardware store and buying a screw with a wing nut to hold the squeege in place. I have four sizes of Ettore squeeges, plus the wash tool. All have the same size and distance so they all fit and secure easily. I attached it to the end of my broom and screwed the broom head into it so I could angle it to sweep leaves off my gutter. **Q: Does it have a way to lock unger tools with built in button slot?** A: No. this is a standard treaded pole extension, that the angle is adjustable. I use it to clean solar panel 20' tall. **Q: Is this male & female thread & what is the total length?** A: I don't know if it's male or female. I'm guessing that top is male and he bottom is female. Regardless, just as another person mentioned the thread does not fit into an ettore pole and gets loose. I had to put some thin carboard in between. **Q: Does it fit a painters pole?** A: Yes it does.
