I have been giving been Hip and Joint treats since he was 10 years old. When he was 12, he, developed benign cysts, which grew into very large lumps which we had surgically removed when he was 14. On Christmas eve, when he was 14, he also had a stroke (I knew it was a stroke, because I had one too back in 2008, and I recognized the symptoms), but he has fully recovered.If he goes more than two days without Hip and Joint medication, which I give him entirely in the form of treats, you can see the pain in his eyes and demeanor. But with the treats, he still can walk, even skip at times, climb steps, and excitedly leap off his front paws when I or my wife come home.He loves the Peanut Butter Flavor. I don't ever give him a full treat to eat and walk away. We use it as bonding time. I tear up little pieces at a time and give them to him, petting him and he loves it. he's blind in one eye, but no so blind that he cannot see the treat in my hand, so that still comforts me.I know there are people who are against this product for certain ingredients, but we have to make choices and live. I am not rich product is good. my dogs like them. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dogs LOVE these *by L***A on Reviewed in the United States on December 5, 2019* I am always looking for chewy treats to occupy my dogs. I prefer to get meat-free ones whenever possible (one of my dogs is allergic to chicken which is sneakily in everything, and there's just, you know, the environment)-- these are PERFECT. My dogs go nuts for them (they smell strongly of peanut butter when you open the bag), they take a decent amount of time to chew, and you get a lot in the bag!! I also tear them up and stick them in puzzle toys (they make the dogs work a little harder than kibble, which just falls right out of a lot of puzzle toys).
