I also wanted something much lighter than my current sleeping bag which weighs 7 lbs. Recently, I got a chance to try it out when I went backpacking in the High Uintas of Utah at 10,000 ft elevation. I loved it! It kept me very warm and comfortable without restricting my movement. I definitely recommend it. I bought the regular version and it worked great. I am 5' 10" and 160 lbs. I wasn't sure it would be long enough but it kept me warm from head to toes.Update: I took it on a recent campout where the temperature at nightfall was 32 degrees F. I was warm and comfortable most of the night until the temperature went down to 18 degrees. Then I needed an extra fleece blanket.
