A maker's integrity as a human being could be judged by examining one of the swords they made. This item has a low cost, but the integrity is very high. Carefully chosen and assembled materials. If you want assurance of that, shop for a katana in the $3,000 to $10,000 range. But this blade matches the curvature, edging, and general appearance of my original one. This exceeded my hopes in both respects. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice, functional sword *by G***T on April 2, 2024* This is an attractive, well made, functional sword. It is as described. It is sharp as well. There was some edge rolling when I first received it. This was probably due to handling in the assembly process. A couple of strokes on crossed ceramic sticks fixed that easily. Now it will shave. I have only one complaint. The hamon is wire brushed on. I hope you will decide to leave that out. A plain, heat treated blade would be far more preferable. I have seen complaints that it's not Damascus. It is Damascus, but has not been acid etched. That's fine by me. Overall, I'm very pleased with this sword. The seller is first rate.
