So here it is.I received two plates, two different sizes. The smaller one is about 10.75" (8.5" across) in diameter and the larger one is about 14.25" in diameter (10" across).Pros:Environment friendly. With so much waste, These are way better than using paper plates. They are light weight so even a small child can carry them. They can be used inside or outside.White back ground with a bold animal design on each plate.Safety: I dropped each place from about 5' to the floor to see if they would break. They did not. Not even a scratch on them. So no need to worry about the kids breaking them. I tried to scratch the animal design off the plates and it would not come off. Love that.Con:These are not microwave safe. I personally would not put hot food on them. They are made of melamine and a small chance that melamine my seep into food. I recommend cold food only. Why take the risk? They are recommended for the top rack of the dishwasher. I will wash in the dishwasher and see what happens.Overall:These plates are adorable and functional. My granddaughter saw these on my table and liked them very much. She wanted to take them home with her.I recommend these plates. What a great product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This 2-piece premium melamine set is so adorable and i just had to get this lovely set ... *by J***H on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on October 17, 2015* This 2-piece premium melamine set is so adorable and i just had to get this lovely set for my daughter to enjoy. The set includes:One Melamine Dinner Plate 10 inches square - with Unique Australian Animals DesignOne Melamine Dinner Plate 8.5 Inches square - - with Unique Australian Animals DesignMelamine is a special type of material its eeally neat it does not absorb fluids easily from foods. It helps to keep food born illnesses to a minimum. They are heavy and durable which makes for long lasting and hard to break dishes and that's perfect for my little people and thier busy little fingers that help to break everything. They are shatterproof and free of harmful chemicals like BPAYou can use them in the dishwasher which saves lota of time but never put them in the microwave oven.It is a money saver to have dishes that we can reuse all the time and the kids love them so much to. This is a nice my daughter loves them so much.I purchased this product for a reduced price for an honest and unbiased review. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/16823323-slice-of-australia-melamine-plates-set-of-2-1-x](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/16823323-slice-of-australia-melamine-plates-set-of-2-1-x) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
