The Haunted Mansion: Imagineering a Disney Classic explores how the attraction's "999 happy haunts" were brought to life. Rare early concept sketches, detailed architectural drawings, and stunning still photography illustrate the Mansion's evolution as it was designed and built at each Magic Kingdom park around the world-including Mystic Manor at Hong Kong Disneyland. Our tour begins here with a twistedly thorough third edition. Based on the retired title The Haunted Mansion: From the Magic Kingdom to the Movies, this newly updated volume confirms or debunks longstanding urban legends, shares fascinating behind-the-screams stories, and reveals how concepts move from inspiration to reality. Readers will discover the latest show enhancements to this classic attraction and find even more artwork depicting the happy haunting grounds in California and Florida as well as Tokyo, Paris, and now Hong Kong. Also The Haunted Mansion is one of her favorite rides. The illustrations are great. Nice, Colorful and detailed. It's a great Disney book. Was a little disappointed it showed up slightly damaged. Could've used some bubble wrap or something to protect it. But over all great buy. Review: Fantastic for Disney Parks Fans - Loved the original artwork they included as well as the new photos of the various rides. Perfect for any Disney fan - tells the entire story of all of the happy haunts on the classic Disney ride. So much information from the concept work on the ride, alternative story ideas and how they received cameos on the final rides along with background on many of the headstones from the que. Absolutely loved this book! ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Best Sellers Rank | #327,228 in Books ( See Top 100 in Books ) #162 in Theme Park Travel Guides #1,153 in Tourist Destinations & Museums Guides #4,003 in Writing, Research & Publishing | | Customer Reviews | 4.9 out of 5 stars 861 Reviews | ## Images ![The Haunted Mansion: Imagineering a Disney Classic - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91W87N1ecmL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Media Format** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Haunted Mansion Book *by M***E on May 1, 2025* Bought this for my Wife who is a HUGE Disney fan and she loves it. Also The Haunted Mansion is one of her favorite rides. The illustrations are great. Nice, Colorful and detailed. It's a great Disney book. Was a little disappointed it showed up slightly damaged. Could've used some bubble wrap or something to protect it. But over all great buy. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic for Disney Parks Fans *by J***S on January 1, 2020* Loved the original artwork they included as well as the new photos of the various rides. Perfect for any Disney fan - tells the entire story of all of the happy haunts on the classic Disney ride. So much information from the concept work on the ride, alternative story ideas and how they received cameos on the final rides along with background on many of the headstones from the que. Absolutely loved this book! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A familiar friend with new real estate *by P***R on August 12, 2015* Boy this book really instills my love for the haunted mansion!! This book is the reason why I get caught in the immersive story that is refreshed over and over again. The book is a "plussed" re visit to the "Haunted mansion : from the magic kingdom to the movies" series Jason Surrell published over 10 years ago. Sure the movie tidbits were fun to read and gloss over the concept art of the film. But I believe the reasoning to eliminate the material is relevance to the entire story of the haunted mansion brand. It is 2015 and people want to hear fresh material. This is what the readers are getting with this book (meanwhile the book layout is the same as the previous books before it). There is new development on mystic point, the interactive queue at the magic kingdom in Walt Disney World Haunted mansion, and of course a more detailed walk through of the Haunted Mansion Holiday overlay seen at Disneyland in Anaheim and Tokyo Disneyland. I think the main thing you should look for when buying the book is that Hong Kong Disneyland is still new to guests and there could many U.S. guests yet to visit the park. Be amazed and have an open mind when reading the material on mystic manor!! --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/16826560-the-haunted-mansion-imagineering-a-disney-classic](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/16826560-the-haunted-mansion-imagineering-a-disney-classic) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
