I ordered the iPad filter from SleepShield. What a mistake that turned out to beIt turns out I cannot tell what amount, if any, blue light this over-rated piece of clear plastic was blocking. My iPad screen looks exactly the same with or without the SleepShield in place. To be honest, I don't think the SleepShield blocks any blue light whatsoever. I read on the SleepShield website that blue light will somehow bend away from my eyes. How on earth the material knows where my eyes are located is beyond me. Their website also says that the screen appearance won't change while the SleepShield is being used. I guess that much is true because I see the blue light coming from my iPad while the SleepShield is in place but that's what I'm trying to prevent. The SleepShield is an absolute ripoff!I ended up purchasing an iPad filter from LowBlueLights.com and couldn't be happier. I don't think I've ever slept better. Their Zzz iPad filter attaches in seconds and there's no question it blocks all the blue light from my screen. There's no glue so I can put it on and take it off when I want and possibly the coolest feature, it comes with a storage pouch for when it's not being used. The LowBlueLights filter is exactly what I was looking for.
