So far I haven't had any of the issues the other reviews have had with the resistance. Overall, I'd say it's a solid machine and worth the price if you need it's specific feature set. That being the over long stride, heavy center base, and level resistance instead of incline based resistance.Pros:Best elliptical I've found for someone of my height (6'8). I can keep perfect form instead of hunching, like I have to on most machines.Stride extends to 26 inches without using incline. Most elliptical machines are from 19-23 inches tops.Solidly built. No wobbling or fear of damage to you or the machine. It's a tank.One of the few machines I've found that is comfortable for my size 14 feet. They don't hang off the side or the back of the pedal.Center drive system reduces the footprint by a lot.Cons:No built in fans, you'll need to get your own and find a way to adjust to your liking.Really is expensive vs going to a gym and using commercial grade equipment. Make sure you really need it.Decently quiet, but a few clicks, scrapes and the occasional knocking.
