Review: Wonderful product with great results - Ordered 2 boxes to spruce up the flocking on our 11 year old 8ft Christmas tree. Used around one and a half of the product. Easy to apply just by misting with water and shaking the powder over the moistened tree. Then you mist again directly afterwards. The whole tree took around 1 hour to reflock but if you're doing it from scratch it may take a bit longer. I used my own mister rather that the small one that was provided. Not sure what witchcraft or magic happens but it goes from a powder to a fluffy snow effect quite quickly. I was astounded by how amazing the snow looks on our tree. The closeup images show how good the effect is. My camera on my phone isn't great so it doesn't do it justice at all for the whole tree. The snow was easy to apply but note that it leaves a lot of mess and dust, and I recommend wearing a dust mask. I also strongly suggest protecting your floors as it sticks to anything! I got a little bit on the flooring but is came off quite easily with a wet cloth. I think I could have recovered a lot of the powder off the floor protector and reused but didn't bother. Therefore maybe one box would have been enough if I was willing to collect and reuse. It will cover a slim six foot Christmas tree depending on the required thickness. **Q: I’m wanting to put a couple of real trees at my front door but would like to flock them. It’s a covered porch. Would this stick to the tree?** A: Real trees and covered porch are fine. The main issue in your situation will be the wind where the branches of the tree flex a lot this can cause the bond between the snow and the branch to break meaning the snow can blow away. **Q: Can anyone give me some advice/ tips on doing this to my tree please** A: My advice would be to buy 2 packs if you have 6ft upward tree if you want to get a fully snow effect, if light snow then one will do. Make sure to put lots of protection on the floor because it does go everywhere everywhere and once the light spray of water hits the powder it goes hard and you'll end up chipping it off the floor. It's incredibly easy to apply, if a bit messy and my tree last year looked absolutely beautiful. I would definitely recommend getting some of this as it revived a eleven years old tree that had been quite expensive even back then. I had been looking at flocked trees and was horrified by the price. With this you get the most beautiful tree for a fraction of the price. I would have uploaded a photo to show you but my phone was stolen with all the photos being lost! Very simple application, just must spray the tree with a water bottle then shake the powder on and repeat to layer up. I love the finished result and the snow seems firmly set and not flaking off. Highly recommend this product! I’d advise putting down something to protect your floor to help with the cleanup. I didn’t because I have laminate so thought cleanup wouldn’t be too bad but it doesn’t hoover and when mopping it turned to a sort of slime.
