The grains are tiny and cook up fluffy, giving the cooked rice a unique and appealing texture. I use the traditional method of cooking this rice: one cup rice to 4 cups water, simmering for 10 minutes after it comes to a boil, draining the excess water and letting it sit covered for another 10 minutes.
