Also, I have been doing home improvement and have issues with breathing when inhaling paint fumes. I have also tested this outside because I have a severe grass allergy. I did not write my review until I had tested this extensively for about a week. I wanted to give the pros and cons and let you know how I feel about the product with honesty and make the review comprehensive. I did buy this mask with my own money so I am not obligated nor would I give a dishonest review. I think the price point is quite good for the fact that I feel like I can go out in public without worrying about what I might catch.Pros: Lots of designs to choose from ( just because you wear a mask doesn't mean you don't want to be fashionable )Good price point for the qualitySuper soft materialVery thick materialAdjustable ear loopsEasy breathing through the mask ( some previous masks of this type that I have tried causes me to feel like I can't breathe or I'm trapped )Paint fumes were not detected when I wore the maskWent outside while grass was being my mowed and I did not experience an allergic reactionLots of different sizesCons: this honestly isn't a real con because it was my fault. Be careful about the sizing. I think I ordered way too big for my needs but again that was my fault. I was able to adjust the ear loops so that it fits my faceA bit hot but that is to be expected with any mask that is thick and able to keep out dust, pollen, bacteria, and germs. I suspect this will be less of a problem in winter.I will be wearing this mask when I go out. I will not wear it every time but if there is a large event or during flu season I will be sporting the mask. I love the crown design. I also enjoy the fact that I can be somewhat fashionable while wearing a mask. People are going to stare if you wear a mask outside in public. Let them stare but at least I know the mask looks good. This may seem small for some people but when you have to wear these things quite often it's nice to have a choice on the pattern.I'm definitely thinking about ordering a second mask for myself in a different print and one for my mother who has just finished chemotherapy and radiation.I would suggest this mask to anyone who has a low immune system, dealing with chemotherapy etc., is dealing with chemicals that have fumes, or has allergies. It definitely is one of the most comfortable masks I have worn. The pictures should show you that the material is quite thick but it's also very soft to the touch so it doesn't irritate my skin.If you have any questions let me know. I definitely will be suggesting this mask to my other friends who have immune disorders and want to go out but also want to be fashionable. Paper masks definitely do not have the protection of this type of respirator mask. You can see in the details all the studies that have been done and the percentage of bacteria and viruses that it filters. I have an autoimmune disease and am on several immunosuppressive drugs. Thus I have to wear a mask in public. I had a hard time accepting that I had to wear a mask everywhere because people look and stare and judge. I also have a medical service dog so I go anywhere and it just makes me so sad and uncomfortable. So far this mask has thick layers so when i wear it, I don't smell anything much. My glass didn't fog cuz it has the valve to let you breathe the air out which i think is very clever.
