Very small spaces to allow tightening. Can be done but aggravating. My unit arrived without the upper grill and no cloth cover, plus one of the cooking deck side pieces was bent in as if a forklift ran over a corner of the package. The unit is much smaller than it looks and is much more swallow. Don’t see how drinks could be put in it with ice unless your cola and beer bottles are about 4-6 oz sized.
