This fits the bill perfectly. It has a slim profile so doesn't take up a lot of room. I have 5 chunky knives on one side and can still use the other side. The biggest knife is a very large santoku. The magnet works well enough to hold the knives, especially as they have a ridge at the handle. The wood finish is a great finish as well. Very stylish and does the job.
