I took a quick look at the item on learningresources.com, but it also does not state that the item is non toxic. I would suggest going to their website and asking their customer service for clarification. **Q: Can you cut the shapes so that interior planes would be visible?** A: I have not cut them, but they are solid and made of very sturdy foam, so I would think that they would stand up to cutting pretty well.
