On sizing: Surf company wear normally runs quite small - when I was really thin and a S or XS in regular clothes I was usually a M or size 7-9 depending in O'Neill / Roxy / Billabong etc - so I figured I'd be L maybe even XL now as I've put on some lbs. The L fits fine, though I haven't gotten it wet yet so may be roomy then, and the M is a little snug but not too tight dry so will probably be perfect in the ocean. Someone mentioned the bottom is small -- I think it depends what cut you're looking for and how tall you are. Having spent time in Brazil I can assure you this isn't a Brazilian cut at all. Brazilian swim bottoms are just shy of thongs when they aren't actually thongs. This is not even a typical surfer bikini bottom that shows half or slightly less of your bum but when made well mysteriously stays put. That said, it isn't a boyshort, either, if you have an a** (and I do- I've got J Lo curves). On me it sits like a normal bikini bottom - like 2/3 cheek coverage. The model is skinny, the way models usually are, so it sits lower on her hips than on someone with more meat on their bones. So if you're say 5'9" and curvy I can see how it might ride up- the torso is not super long. Also if you're buying primarily to be covered up while swimming or sunning it may not be what you want. I got these because I was tired of surfing in either a bikini or a rashgaurd and bottoms and having to adjust my outfit or even having tops and bottoms fall down when I was getting up on a wave or tossed around in whitewater. At 5'2" it's extremely flattering, makes my short legs look longer and is still modest for a surfer. On getting the right color: I ordered 4 of these in different colors/sizes, all were correct so perhaps they sorted out the order fulfillment issue. Super super stoked to wear these.
