Review: REVIEW CHANGED FROM 1 STAR to 5 STAR Item works perfectly as advertised after replacing batteries. The batteries were were defective and too small so they popped out of the tray. That was the entire problem all along. That is why nothing worked. The batteries were 1-2 mm smaller. So this was defective batteries the manufacturer was getting rid of. If you have the same problem just replace the batteries and everything will work. It's a great item and does exactly as advertised. I use this with a real camera system and it looks great at night. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Electrical manufacturing defect. Battery tray defect. No circuit connection OR Defective night sensor. The unit is defective. It does not work in "minutes" as advertised. You must remove the back cover held by a screw to install the 2 batteries. The batteries immediately pop out - because the tray and connectors are defective. The batteries do not stay put with the cover on. There is no way to make the batteries stay in the tray. You could add glue on the batteries. But there is no anchor. And even when the batteries are held in with the unit there is no electrical connection. No red light. No green light. The only reason I purchased this is because there is a green night light on the keypad! I tried contacting the seller and there is no reply. I expect a replacement or refund to be issued immediately.

Terrible. Bought for my kids play house but Didn’t work. Batteries don’t fit, let alone stay in place. Got a refund without having to return the item, they must must know it’s that bad they do not even want it back…

This thing is great but in my opinion they need to make it so you it just has the slowly blinking red led. It does not need the full lit keypad. The keypad being lit drains the battery. Batteries would last a long time if it only powered the red led. Or make it so the keypad lights up only after a key is pushed.
