Remains pliable for a while. Good product for for model railway **Q: Can this be used on my face to make a face mask?** A: Yes, I did this exact thing with my children during the holidays. Make sure you apply a layer of Vaseline to the face beforehand though, it sets rock solid and would painful to remove otherwise! **Q: Does this dry too hard to use for a homemade Piñata?** A: Not sure. It does dry pretty hard but I used several layers to make a fake plaster cast for a dressing up costume. I guess with only one or two layers it might be ok. **Q: does this have an expression date?** A: No date as such just says use within 1 year of purchase. Hope that helps.
