## Description

Make your painting jobs quicker, more professional looking, and less frustrating. This new Painting system allows you to paint the edges of a wall and around trim without using masking tape and without getting onto a ladder. Rollers are washable and reusable. Small microbrush technology cuts in a perfect line. Special metal shield keeps paint from reaching the "clean" side of the shield and getting onto the trim. Perfect for edging accent walls, ceilings, crown molding, chair rail, doors, windows, and more. This jumbo kit contains everything you need to get started and to paint an entire house (or more!) You get the XT paint edger, TWO additional brushes, TWO additional rollers, an instructional video and printed instructions. Thirty day money back guarantee if you use it and are not completely satisfied. 90 day limited manufacturers warranty. Made in China.

Review: I hate edging with a passion - First off, I must admit that I hate edging. I will roll all day, but hate edging. To me it is what makes the paint job look good or bad - professional or garbage. Pair this with any relevant OCD and you have a recipe for disaster. With that said, it is nearly impossible to perfectly edge/cut with a paintbrush - it will be wavy to a degree. Sure, you can attempt in using a piece to block it or use tape, but really, those have their issues as well. With the paint blocker you will get paint seem through and get on the back of your edger, then when you move along you will distrubute that paint elsewhere. With tape, your paint seeps through/under at points, especially if you have textured walls. With that said, this is as good as you can get with relative ease. Is it perfect? No. Does it work pretty damn well. YES! The device is essentially a roller with a guard and a paint brush. Each of them feed each other paint to get close to the edge. Because they ride together the line is straight. So long as you make sure your paint stays on the correct side of the guard then you'll do pretty well. You will have to wipe the metal edger and the wheel on occasion - be ready for this. Also, make sure that you are rolling the correct way - the roller should be the trailing edge (I'm not sure why, but I thought that the brush was the training edge). The bad part of this is as follows. you have to load the roller up with a lot of paint. The more, the better the line looks. The problem with this is that obviously too much will cause you to drip or worse, seep under the guard if you make too many passes over wet paint and thus transfer to the wall side. So be sure to have a drop cloth of some sort under the area you are painting. This is important too - this will not save you from edging with a brush. Let me repeat this - this will NOT save you from edging with a brush. This roller needs room to work and if you have an area that is 6" long then it is almost pointless to use this roller because it will only be able to edge about 2" of that 6" wall. Secondly, it can only do flat surfaces. If you have any curves or imperfections in your wall then you will have to edge with a brush. TIP: Have someone feather out the hard wet paint line behind you. Despite these negatives I still love this roller. I was able to edge entire 20' walls, top and bottom, with this in the same time it took me to edge with a brush about 10". I did mess up in some areas - dripped paint and whatnot - but hey, I had an entire 2000 sqft home to paint. My OCD is still bothered by the small mishaps but I almost guarantee that the same mishaps would have happened if I did it by brush... so why not do it in a fraction of the time?
Review: Horrible device - It does not work...the roller it comes with is so knappy it keeps hitting the frame and dripping down the wall...it doesnt get right the edge of trim...the little brush hits trim sides...it simply bounces around and wont roll straight...it sucks complwtely...i just have to learn to cut in with an angle brush cause this didnt help at all...it is cheaply made for $100 and not worth $10 ...i couldnt get it to work...u cant load it with enough paint to cover and does not save time lile i was hoping...the roller is an odd size so u cannot change roller nap lengths for different needs...u r forces to use their crappy rollers that are way too nappy and are not a standard size...this device is useless and way overpriced...

### ⭐⭐⭐ It worked great for a few rooms
*by K***R on May 13, 2020*

When I first got it, I was amazed. I was able to finish a room with 12' ceilings in record time. I used it along the ceiling, door frames, window frames, and baseboard no problem. I even bought extra rollers and brushes. I never had a problem with it bleeding onto the ceiling or frames because every time I brought it down to refill the roller, I just wipe the edge, it was very easy. The parts are pretty cheap though and the edge that keeps the roller paint on the right side has a plastic edge and that edge has worn off and it's just not holding up as well. I am still able to use it, but it is not making a crisp perfect line along the edge like it did when I first got it. Like I said, still helpful, but probably not worth the price tag. I only got about 6-8 walls edged before it started to show wear.
