I filled my sink to about four inches of water, put the gloves on and held them under the water up to the wrist area for about 30 seconds to simulate falling into a creek or mudpuddle while camping/hiking. I then let them sit for 30 minutes so see if the water soaked through. They were completely dry! They are nice and thick and past the wrist length with the buckle closure to keep them over your rain suit. I also am impressed with the grip material on the underside of the fingers and the grip area of the palm, perfect for gripping hiking poles. I'm planning on hiking the AT and when needed in cold and heavy rain I expect these to do an outstanding job. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Water resistant, soft on the inside, plenty warm *by S***R on Reviewed in the United States on February 17, 2018* Nice and soft on the inside. Decently waterproof, not perfect so I guess the better term would be water resistant. I live in northern Michigan so I wear these on very cold days around 0°F and they’re warm enough. I’ve worn them out on the snowmobile and also just while walking around outside.
