To release the lock, push the side of the seat back toward the seat beack at the same timeslide thr release back towaeds the front of the cushion, it should release the lock allow that side to move fourward. Repeat for the second side. Once removed took less than five min to fit to the car (Audi avant 16). Seat was fitted on top of a Halfords seat saver then into the iso fix. Fits really well and looks very cool.
