Does the job straight out of the tube. I have used several types of filler and this one by far is ideal for those little jobs for a neat, tidy and clean finish. The included spatula is ideal for smoothing out the filler over the surface and it doesn't really need sanding. To be sure, it is meant for small holes or cracks. I used it on a plaster wall to fill a hole about 2 cm across on top of a filler paste I had already applied and it worked perfectly.
