It looks small and simple from the outside, but inside is packed with information on a huge variety of teas. The writer covers everything from great bits of history and folklore of each herb, to its uses, warnings, consumption guide and even great combinations, all written in a simple to learn manner. Weather you are new to the tea world or a veteran, or weather you are looking to learn for routine consumption or a guide for as needed use, this book is perfect for you. The only thing this book does not have is pictures, so you’re looking for a guide for identifying herbs, this is not for you. Although they include great written descriptions of each herb I don’t believe it would really be enough to confidently identify a species.
