Other oyster mushrooms would be okay, but I understand the cold might kill pink oyster mycelium. Your best bet is to keep them closed and in a cool, dark place. I suspect they'd be fine. Try to grow mushrooms from a box. Growth: It took 3 weeks to get these results! You can put them in a room that has high humidity and low light for get results. Tip: Don’t let the ends of the mushrooms to curl-up, it’s too old to pick. One box equals 1 person’s meal. Sterilize all your equipment forehand with 70% rubbing alcohol. After the second fruiting, I will mix the block with saw in a bucket to grow more mushrooms; great value for my money for a mushroom that isn’t sold in stores.
