## Questions & Answers

**Q: Why does this not come with the proper size Allen wrenches for adjustment**
A: The release uses two different sizes of allen wrench. One size adjusts thumb trigger release tension and travel length uses a larger size wrench.

**Q: Does this have a tension release option or is it just trigger only?**
A: I used it for a while using my shoulder back tension as I drew back to release through the trigger. However I'd used used a typical trigger release for 25 years and couldn't get used to the Hardcore. It is a high quality release if you can get used to it.

**Q: I shoot with a pair of gloves inside a pair of mittons that flip open, it gets cold here in michigan, can you push the button with thick gloves on?**
A: it's a thumb release first off, so yes, but you don't quite get the sensitivity of the release. having the gloves on will already effect your anchor point a ton. you can do it, just practice ALOT.

**Q: Is there a click at release like many finger type releases?**
A: I've never heard a click while releasing. Most of your hinge releases that use back tension will have a click or at least an option to set a click as a warning like most of the scott releases have and any like them. This is a true thumb release that will simply release once you put pressure on the thumb trigger just like any wrist strap release would. It's very quiet and I personally love this release. Try one you won't be sorry

    MAN O MAN!!!

Wow!! I am amazed at how this little device instantly improved my shot!!!Let me start by saying I have bad wrists. I hurt my wrists years ago playing hockey and they have never been the same. I have been using a wrist release for some time now and would find that after an hour or two of moderate shooting, my wrist would be hurting. Not to mention the next day they were very sore! This was my main reason to switch to the hand releaseFirst off the construction is fantastic! It feels great in the hand, has a just the right amount of weight that you'd want in a device going in your hand. Smooth finish makes it nice to hold as well. Not to mention the mechanics of the device feel great too!I love that I can easily adjust not only the trigger position, but the sensitivity as well! That made it even more of a dream to shoot with! The swivel head design gave me the freedom to turn my wrist and place my hand at the right position on the side of my face to shoot. The first thing I noticed on my very first pull was how stable I was holding the bow string back! I felt like I could've held it for minutes without a shake in the arms! I shoot a 60lb pull so normally with my wrist release after holding the shoot to aim I would notice a little shake in my hold. Not with this!! My first arrow went high because I compensated the pull, I then adjusted the sensitivity to be nice and light and the next six were all within a 2-3inch group!!I was really hesitant to pay this much for a release... but let me tell you... it was worth every cent!!! I'd buy it again and again! What else can I say... I love it!!

    Great release.

I had one of these before and lost it in the woods so I had to purchase another one. I like this release, it's easy to use, well built and I like the four finger grip. Always used a wrist strap on one before, but I like this one much better. You can leave it attached to the bow for a quick draw. By the way I did find the lost one after I purchased this one so now I have a back-up.

Pretty good but the bulkiness was a deal breaker.

I got this as a used product from Amazon....which brings me to the first potential issue with this product: exposure of the internal components. It was marked as "very good" condition but it did not work when I initially tried it. I opened up the release mechanism to find that something had gummed up the internals. So after pulling them out, cleaning, lubricating, and getting the spring and everything to fit the way it should have, I was able to test it.At first I viewed this as a failure by someone at Amazon to properly inspect the product but then I realized that this could also be seen as a design issue since the top on the internal parts are exposed and it's possible for foreign material to find its way in... However, this could just be a fault of all hook release style releases (this was the first I've ever used).Regardless, I'm fine with some maintenance so I pushed on to testing it.I had also ordered a truball max pro 4 -which is the release that I ended up going with.My main deciding factor? I have a camo face mask that I wear when it is cold out. It's not an ultra slim fitting spandex style mask so the material bunches up near the neck and makes everything pretty bulky there. The Trufire Revo felt very good in my glove while the truball almost felt small enough to the point where I could easily drop it. However, when I had my bow drawn back I noticed that it was difficult to deal with the trufire while I had my face mask down. I had to pull the bow back and then lean my head over to my peep sight. This wasn't nearly as much of a problem with the truball that felt almost completely contained in my hand.So the small form of the truball really won in my personal "worst case scenario" testing.Overall the trufire was a nice release but I just happened to prefer the truball max 4 pro.
