I must admit that I was very cautious using this tool with so much pressure being placed on it from the torsion bars but it did the job nicely. I greased the threads on the tool to prevent any binding but I still held a piece of thick plywood between me and the tool just in case it might have been defective. ( bad casting ) But it worked fine and turned out to be a good quality tool. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars First timer, easy with this tool. *by J***T on Reviewed in the United States on October 3, 2017* You MUST jack up the front of your vehicle before using this tool. It works exactly as it should. This takes a 1" socket which I bought at Lowe's for $5, my set didn't have one this big. After seeing how much force is required to unload the keys, I couldn't imagine doing this job with a c-clamp or a homemade tool. I had never done this before and it took me about 1.5 hours to do everything, including at least 20 minutes getting it safe on jack stands. I'd recommend soaking your keys with PB Blaster at least an hour before you start, maybe days. My truck had no rust it still took some effort to get the keys free. One last tip... Your keys may come with two shock "spacersleeves". If you don't install these, you may have a rough ride. Well you can't always believe the naysayers... This tool does exactly what it is supposed to do. The large wide threads make for a very smooth operating tool requiring not much effort to unload and then reload the leveling keys in a torsion rod suspension. Like any mechanical device, you need to understand its function and create the proper conditions for effective use. You MUST have your wheels off the ground when working with your suspension so you have the least amount of pressure on the parts.
