I will say I did notice that once I began rinsing, it began to slide down my daughter's forehead a little but all I did was make sure I moved it up if I saw it had slid down.This was our first wash day without any tears in about 4 months. She was so nervous thinking her face would get wet. Everyone's hairline is different so you have to make sure to adjust it to what works best for your child's head. Trial and error for sure.
