Yupik Organic Spelt flakes are steamed, rolled, and lightly roasted from whole Spelt grains! Hearty Spelt is nutty in flavor and firm in texture. Spelt can be used in granola and baked goods. To create hot cereals or soups, every 1 cup of Spelt cooks in 1 ½ cups of water for approximately 15 minutes.

I always thoroughly inspect the foods my family consumes prior to consumption and found no discrepancies in the product. I lightly toasted the spelt, turned it into a delicious breakfast cereal for my family. It maintained the crunchiness and beautiful nutty flavor during the toasting process. My family and I appreciate the realness, the non-gmo, raw whole grains of which the spelt consist! Very delicious and healthy Yes, I recommend!
