- The Mercedes-Benz 190 participates in the German Touring Car Championship (DTM) from 1988 to 1993. The renowned brand with the star produces 500 cars according to the strict regulations of this championship.
- 1992 is a very special year of Mercedes that triggers a real armada: 3 cars go to Zakspeed, 2 of Mass Saws. AMG ordered 4, one of which is driven by Rosberg and another by a woman: Ellen Lohr.
