My door frame is just barely over 24 inches, so I thought this would work perfectly. Turns out the bar requires a door frame of at least 62 cm (as is correctly written on the box), which is about 24.5 inches. This small difference was enough for the bar to not fit into my door frame and now I'm forced to use it in the shower, which is exactly as awkward as it sounds ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Just what I wanted *by R***N on Reviewed in the United States on March 4, 2016* I got this for my son. The boys in his school seem to be competing for who can do the most pull ups so I was happy to oblige his request to get this for him. The bar seems plenty strong. I'm 185 lbs / 83.9 kg and it holds me fine. For pull-ups the bar needs to be mounted so that there's no chance of it falling but the screws that came with the package were too short in my opinion. I mounted them with some 1.25 inch / 3.175 cm screws that I had. I wanted it to have a good grip in the frame of the door. The supplied screws barely got through the trim. So I pre-drilled a small hole and had it mounted in no time. A word to the wise - don't just measure where you are going to put the mounting - hold the supplied mount on the wall to make sure it's where you want it before you pre-drill. Another thing that I like is that it's easy to move for setups. I read a couple of reviews where people said they fell. No offense but you have to be pretty stupid if you fall when using this. There's just no way it's going to fall if you use common sense and tighten it properly (maybe if you are 350 lbs you'll bend it enough to make it fall). I'm in no way affiliated with this company nor is anyone I know. I did not receive this bar free or discounted for my review. This is an honest review. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great suction without installation for 210 lb man on 32" door frame *by J***R on Reviewed in the United States on July 31, 2016* Great suction mechanism on bar already, so I didn't have to drill and install bits into the door frame, which was crucial to the wife. So by expanding the post on my 32" door frame by spinning clockwise created a good hold for 210 lb individual, which can be easily removed, except for some light smearing from the rubber "feet" but ah well!Once the screw holding the middle expander came loose and it spun without shrinking back!
