It's described as soy sauce with fruits and vegetables, no MSG, and it's vegetarian. The ingredient label wasn't on the site and I couldn't find it anywhere else online, so I took a chance. I loved the taste and it was delicious in my stir-fry, and was also perfect as a dipping or noodle sauce. It's very sweet, but also savory. Not every one likes a sweet soy sauce, so be aware of the sugar content. It's not a substitute for regular soy sauce, but it's a tasty alternative for some recipes.The back of the bottle had a nutrition label pasted over the original label. I peeled it off, and the ingredient list was revealed. This product contains a little more than I expected.Naturally brewed soy sauce (water, defatted soybean, wheat, salt, high fructose corn syrup, spirits, licorice extract, disodium insulate, disodium guanylate) high fructose corn syrup, corn syrup, salt, water, vegetable extract, pear concentrate, apple concentrate, yeast extract, caramel, fermented pollen extract.I like the taste, but had hoped for a more natural ingredient list. High fructose corn syrup is listed twice, along with corn syrup. It appears that disodium insulate, disodium guanylate are MSG alternatives used to enhance flavor. I found a few recipes online for similar homemade natural sauces that I will try on my own.
