Review: Bargain deal, lights simple and useful - Lights all worked well. No grounding wire is in the design, and instructions could be a little better. I did find one useful mode by accident when I permitted the red (220VAC) wire to ground - the light stayed on whether 110v was supplied as not, making it an uninterrupted light, might be a useful mode to include. When supplying light with 110v, the 220 unused wire is 'hot', so an annoying danger marginally mitigated by capping it with a wire nut. The swiveling feature on the lights feels weak, but they shouldn't need to be adjusted after mounting, so shouldn't be an issue. For the price, cheaper than replacing batteries in existing lights.

These lights are very similar to the ones I put up over 5 years ago and those are still working. So far I have added two of these and about my only complaint is that the mounting plate is a bit flimsy. They turn on just fine when the breaker is turned off, so I expect that they will work and hopefully last at least 5 years like the first set.
