I've used it twice (once for 15 minutes and once for 20 minutes), and I'm already seeing a noticeable difference. My teeth are fairly white already, but I've had some slight yellowing around the base of my teeth from coffee, red wine, etc. I've used Crest White Strips in the past, but they have really gone up in price. This system works must faster and gets my teeth a great deal whiter than the strips at a fraction of the price. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it's very harsh. The first time I used it, I must have put too much gel in the trays, and my gums started burning after a few minutes. The worst part, though, was a needle-like pain in one of my lower molars. I have no idea what caused that, but it became almost unbearable and I had to spit out the trays after only 15 minutes. In reading some of the other reviews, I decided to try applying the gel to my teeth, then insert the trays. That worked much better, and I had no discomfort with my gums. I did still have the sharp pain in my lower molar, though it wasn't quite as severe as the first time. I'll keep using this in hopes that the discomfort will continue to lessen (I may need to just avoid that tooth), because I'm impressed by the quick results.
