The Pixar is mostly screenshots of the movies and includes a lot of ones from the shorts. Personally they are meant favorite of the 3, although there are some cool ones. The Golden Age and Renaissance ones though are just gorgeous. There's a lot of concept art and raw art sketches that are unique and beautifully done - they called to the spirit of the movies perfectly without being spot on, which I love. Of the 2, the Renaissance is probably my favorite of the three! Review: Nice set of postcards from Frozen, The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and more... - This is a fantastic set of postcards of Disney animated films. This package covers about 25 years of Disney's recent history, from "The Little Mermaid" in 1989 to "Big Hero 6" in 2014 (complete list of movies at the bottom of review). Each card measures approximately 3.75 x 5.75 inches (9.5 x 14 cm). The front of each card features a piece of artwork from the film(s) The back is indeed in the style of a standard postcard, with a few lines for the address as well as a place for the postage stamp. The art is absolutely fantastic, ranging from near-completed designs to the earliest character sketches. Much of the imagery should be very recognizable for fans of the Disney movies. I've included some photos of the postcards in this review (for more images, you can visit my blog - link can be found in the comments section or by clicking on my reviewer profile). List of Movies (there are 10 postcards for each): - Little Mermaid - Beauty and the Beast - Aladdin - The Lion King - Mulan - Princess and the Frog - Tangled - Wreck-It Ralph - Frozen - Big Hero 6 *NOTE: For postcards from early classics like "Snow White" and "Cinderella" you'll want to pick up a different set: The Art of Disney: The Golden Age (1937-1961) . Also, Pixar movies like "Toy Story" and "Cars" are featured in a separate box: The Art of Pixar: 100 Collectible Postcards ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Best Sellers Rank | #56,263 in Books ( See Top 100 in Books ) #30 in Animation Graphic Design (Books) #34 in Animated Movies #68 in Art of Film & Video | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 4.7 out of 5 stars (1,226) | | Dimensions | 4.38 x 2.38 x 6.38 inches | | ISBN-10 | 145212230X | | ISBN-13 | 978-1452122304 | | Item Weight | 1.32 pounds | | Language | English | | Print length | 16 pages | | Publication date | August 18, 2015 | | Publisher | Chronicle Books | ## Images ![The Art of Disney: The Renaissance and Beyond (1989 - 2014) 100 Collectible Postcards (Disney Postcards, Cute Postcards for Mailing, Fun Postcards for Kids) (Disney x Chronicle Books) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81eoU7tB1ML.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Media Format** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful Cards! *by K***Y on May 9, 2021* I have ordered 3 of these postcards packs - the Golden Age, the Renaissance and Pixar.
