**Q: Can I use this knife as a carving knife?**
A: Even though it's a bread knife, i have had to use it as a carving knife. It doesn't make the cleanest cut necessarily, but it will work in a pinch

**Q: Can i use this to cut vegetables?**
A: I was disappointed in this knife. It squishes down bread instead of cutting it. It’s not designed for veggies (too long) and not sharp.

A: It does not come with a cover.

**Q: What is the Blade length?  Not overall length but only the blade length....**
A: the blade alone is 14 inches long, the handle adds another 5 inches
