Also love the helper handle. **Q: Can you deep fry with this? I.e. General Tso chicken?** A: You can if you want to put that much oil in it. Personally, I would be hesitant. A wok doesn't have a very large base of support and can tip easily. I wouldn't want one full of hot oil on my stove. I would deep fry in a dutch oven and then transfer to the wok for finishing. **Q: How good is it for the old school electric COIL stove? Will it take a long time to cook unlike using the same wok on gas stove?** A: Hi VC Pro... Although I have the glass top stove and have not used the T-fal Wok on the coil burners, I believe it will work on them The bottom of the wok has about a 3-1/2 inch wide circumference that is flat. I took a photo of the wok bottom but I don't see any way to attach it to the Amazon response.
