I have combination skin that's been through a lot of hormonal changes as I've aged and this product has kept up with all the challenges. Genetics aside, I can see how this product has been kind to my skin compared to even family members who use other, much more expensive and numerous face routine products. I am super lazy/tired and don't expect myself to be able to do a whole routine of anything every evening even if I value self care, and to be able to just wash my face and put a cream on (this cream) as my entire skin care routine and have the results I've had so consistently is absolutely worthwhile. Having healthy, glowing skin makes every other stressful part of my day more bearable (vain, I know, but this cream does allow me to feel this way lol).Best time to use this cream in my experience seems to be after a gentle exfoliating face wash before bed (and drinking a tall glass of water). My skin glows the next morning, and I love falling asleep to the scent of this cream. I wouldn't recommend this, though, to people who are dealing with sun damage/sunburn or using retinol products as it can react/burn.
