However, the flavour of these was completely overwhelming - primarily thyme I think - and as such the taste is not very nice! I had expected the product to taste like chicken skin (when crisped up in the oven) but the strong added flavouring meant that these did not taste of chicken at all. Sadly, I'll have to revert to pork scratchings, but I am disappointed. Surely there is merit in producing a product which simply tastes of chicken (preferably salted), without having to add really strong flavours like vinegar, habanero or herbs! So bought these as I love chicken and the crispy skin. Came across these and was excited. When they arrived was all packed well. I dived in and opened a packet. Now this is just my opinion. The smell hit me first, no, no, no. Grease. Then put in mouth. No, not right, tasted of old oil. It makes me feel sick just thinking of them. I tried a few more packet different ways, warmed up, with mayo.
