Fits and feels great! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cheaper? Yes! You'll have to do some work because it's WOOL! *by B***D on Reviewed in the United States on January 18, 2017* Ok, I'll admit, mine was one of those that came a little smelly. However, what do you expect from $90 alpaca? I've dealt with worse smelling wool.... and yes, in this day and age, we all expect everything to come to us in perfect condition. Well, instead of paying $200+, I'm willing, and did, to buy a $5 bottle of Woolite and some cheap hair conditioner. I sent an hour, washing and rinsing three times, this poncho by "hand" (I used a floor squeegee to 'smush' it) in the bath tub with cold water. Then, I used the cheap hair conditioner, because it's hair, and then ran the shower on cold and continually flipped and squeezed to rinse the excess off. I stuck it in my garage to dry for a day over a step ladder, and BAM, smells great now.Seriously, it only lost a star because of the smell and extra work I put in, but at the same time, I can say that I helped make this my own AND I paid a helluva price for an alpaca poncho that I'll use out in woods. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love it! *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on July 15, 2016* This was what I was looking for. Use for: Cold office, fall/spring hiking, layering for hiking/backpacking, layer for outdoor sleep system. All the comments about the smell are accurate, and I imagine necessary as insects like to eat this type of material. I washed it by itself with 1 pod in cold/cold on delicate with a slow spin, let air dry, and left to air out for 3 days...did the trick. I read up on alpaca wool, and it is analogous to hollowfil insulation used in mid range sleeping bags. The big benefit is as the fibers get wet the "air chamber" stay intact, and the material is "thin" enough to not pull in a great deal of moisture. Lamb/sheep wool is more scaled as the keratin scales grow into a layered structure facilitating slightly more water induction...NERD ALERT!!! Anyway it is an awesome piece, and I love the vertical stripes. I feel like they blend in better with a deciduous environment.
