I used this with double stick adhesive tape to attach to the ceiling perimeter of my enclosed porch and it worked great. I just put the battery pack above the door frame, out of sight, so when I need to change the batteries it's pretty easy. Gives off a good amount of light - not too much or too harsh like the ceiling fan does in the room, which is the main reason I got it. Would purchase again.

I had two pieces I wanted to put these fairy lights on, a small outdoor topiary bunny and some ornamental branches in my bedroom. They are absolutely delightful in each of them. They add the right touch to them. At night I can turn them on in my bedroom for just the right ambiance or romantic touch. Outdoors I can use the ones on the bunny for garden lights. It's so adorable. The adults and kids both like them. I'm very pleased. As always Amazon came through just in time too.

Affordable! Good controls and good length I’m using them to light up the inside of my gun safe. 4 stars because I wish they were a little brighter. But great bang for the buck! Wish there was a 4.5 star

Very thin tube, easy to work with. Does not provide much light outdoors. Would be best used to mark steps or boundaries in the dark. Burns through the batteries fast if used regularly for hours at a time. Would also work well for indoors. If you are looking to illuminate a small area outdoors like I was, you will be disappointed.

We use to light up kids' tree house. We also put on our deck railing. Although not as pretty as some when not lit (long plastic cord) when lights are on it's very pretty warm light. Only unnecessary feature and a bit of a pain but not a big deal is that the lights have a ton of settings -flashing etc. and you have to scroll through each one to get to the still setting every time you turn them on.

Liked that it was flexible however didn't last one night. I have inadequate light sources in my living room because of a bizarre building style. The point of these was to have the extra light across the ceiling. They weren't bright enough. And after carefully installing them the box where the batteries go breaks off the strand. Now I'm out 30ish bucks with lights that don't work.

I really like these. Just as promoted and low price. Simple to use. No batteries to mess with. We are using them year 'round, not just at Christmastime. I'm setting some up around our back-yard fire-pit area.

The pictures of this product are misleading. This is NOT outdoor rope lighting. When I received it I was stunned to find that this is micro lighting. A look back at the fine print shows my mistake; but the pictures of this being strung along a giant tree and outlining a lighthouse makes you think this is BIG and it isn’t. I’m disappointed with this purchase.
