Basically he is interested in anything that goes but school buses are among his favourittes. It is a small (5 inch) toy. For those who own 'hot wheels' brand vehicles, I can say it looks and feels similar. May be this one is a little bigger... It has a very simple design. The details of a school bus are well preserved but there is no opening door or a fancy friction system. Just a solid metal plus wheels. I have not observed and wear-tear during 8 months of use and I can say that it is pretty sturdy. However that sturdy metal construction is not beneficial at all times. It can be dangerous in the hands of a young child. Small children can hurt themselves or their play-mates by hitting toys and this one can cause real pain due to its hard material. Therefore, It would be safer if it was made of plastic. Overall, it is simple and offers good fun at a decent price (around $5).
