Seggiano Premium Organic Sicilian Tomato Passata 500g - Vegan. Vegetarian, GMO Free, & Organic - Made from Fresh-Off-The-Vine Tomatoes - Packed with Flavour

## Features

- Seggiano premium passata is made of high summer fresh-off-the-vine tomatoes, grown on the coastal land surrounding the ancient city of Siracusa in southeast Sicily.
- The colour and full spectrum rich tomato flavours are conserved using unique indirect vapour heat processing and careful temperature control. This ensures that the valuable antioxidants, nutrients and intense flavours of the freshly picked organic tomatoes are preserved.
- For the most delicious gourmet fast meal, use this passata as a sauce base for Seggiano organic pasta, with Lunaio extra virgin olive oil.
- Raw foodies will love Seggiano passata in gazpacho and it will be enjoyed in any dish which requires the taste of fresh tomatoes, by people who care about the quality of the food they eat.
- Seggiano single estate organic passata packs twice the flavour of any other passata.

## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

    Good quality organic passata

Have bought this once and used it for cooking and it was delicious. It is expensive so have now opted to buy another organic brand which I could buy in bulk.

    Unusable

*by L***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 1 April 2020*

It came opened and cannot be used. The only way to get a refund was to return it which was impossible since the bottle was opened! I had to throw it away, as I didn’t know how long it was open! Very disappointing!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐

    Fresh taste, very nice.

I find it hard to justify the price of this passata but I find this to be a product you would buy as a special treat or as a gift. Despite the high price, it definitely is a really nice passata. It feels very fresh and has a nice tomato flavour. It is not overly sweet as most supermarket brands which means you don't need to add much at all to make a delicious dish. I don't usually notice much difference in a lot of organic products in terms of flavour but in this case, I could tell it was a better quality product. All in all, not something I would buy on a weekly basis but definitely something I would pair with a fancy pasta to make a special dish.
