Comes with 2 ways to hook up to yor battery, alligator clips, and sae plug. My motorcycle already had the plug installed on it from the previous owner so I guess I have a spare. Weather resistance is a plus as my bike stays under a cover parked under my carport, but when there's gusty winds and rain it does blow in, so being weather resistant helps. Once you install your choice of hook up, it's just a matter of plug and play. Very easy. Remeber to set for lead acid ir lipo battery, another usefull feature as I plan on upgrading to a lithium battery in the near future so I don't need to buy another tender/charger. Indicator lights let you know what type of battery is selected, and when the charger is charging. It's made very well and pretty heavy for it's size so I expect it to last for years to come.
